Lucid Chart

Dr. Peterson I was thinking in order for us to implement the new IT system we need to figure out different learning methods. LucidChart would be a great tool to help us figure out our goals and what we should do.

First, the cost of Lucid Chart could be implemented in our budget. I looked into prices and it would cost about $10 dollars per employee. We have approximately 25 employees, therefore it would cost us $250. Every employee would have access to this subscription and they could take their time to also browse through the tools, I don’t see a need to do much training at this considering it is self explanatory.

It could be overwhelming at times looking at a sheet, and reading it saying where goes where, and who received what as oppose looking at a flow chart it would be much easier to understand. Having the flexibility of Lucid Chart at hand, it will allow our project managers to visually understand the entire process. We would also be able to look at flow charts and see if there are any unnecessary tasks that can be taken out to save time as well. This will help us figure out what works and what doesn’t work. We would be able to make any improvements, and change around any tasks.

A great thing about Lucid Chart works with our current system and also works greatly on our PC’s. In that case we wouldn’t need to spend any more money. I think it would be a great investment to implement Lucid Chart.
